Lisa Woodring




LisaWoodring-Jan2015-CroppedLisa Woodring has been the Chief Development Officer for the Meals on Wheels Foundation of Western New York since 2008. In this capacity, she is responsible for all fundraising activities, including direct mail campaigns, events, planned giving, capital campaigns, donor recognition and grants. She ensures proper accounting procedures for donations and tracks a wide array of metrics for funder reporting and to ensure foundation efforts are appropriately and efficiently focused. Lisa also provides oversight to the Facilities department.

Prior to being promoted, Lisa served as the Director of Annual Giving (2003 – 2008) and Development Associate (1999 – 2003) for the Meals on Wheels Foundation of Western New York. In these roles, she gained invaluable experience overseeing an annual fund, managing a fundraising database, planning special events and coordinating strategies with senior management.

She also has fundraising experience from People Inc., where she assisted with direct mail, special events and recognition. Prior to that, Lisa assisted with accounting and office administration with Ranco Equipment and Charlap’s Dairy Farms, Inc.

Lisa received her bachelor's of arts in Business Administration from Hilbert College. She also has received extensive fundraising training over the years, including numerous courses through the Association for Fundraising Professionals and training in the Benovon model of relationship management.

An active community volunteer, Lisa is a long-standing member of the Western New York chapter of the Association for Fundraising Professionals, for which she used to be secretary. She also is a volunteer with and former cheer coordinator for the Eden Little Loop cheerleading squad.
