Yesterday, Meals on Wheels for WNY held its second annual Breakfast of Hope – a fundraiser designed to bring the lives of Meals on Wheels clients, caregivers and recipients to life and to demonstrate many of the ways that the delivery of food and friendship can help people maintain hope.
The breakfast was a huge success, with approximately 120 people in attendance – including ongoing supporters and many new supporters.
“I’d like to give a huge thank you to all of the attendees, to our table captains and board members, and to the Hunger & Hope team for making this great breakfast possible,” Lisa Woodring, Director of the Meals on Wheels Foundation of WNY, said. “We’d also like to thank the incredible team at David Collins Production for the wonderful, emotional video they created for us. Last, but certainly not least, I’d like to thank our partners at the East Hill Foundation for helping to fund the training that has led to our Hunger & Hope tour program.”
